Possible by a multi-year grant from the NCAA, Gameday Memories promoted healthy drinking habits among Wake Forest students.

The campaign I designed was twofold, increasing awareness of Sober Tailgates and Gameday Giveaways, and designing the giveaways that encouraged participation.

A unique QR code strategy that allowed us to track various marketing component’s success from the campaign - even the sweatshirt tag had its own code.

 
 

Campaign Marketing

I incorporated new and creative marketing strategies for this initiative, including partnering with on campus coffee shops and producing custom coffee sleeves and stickers for customers during the football season.

Marketing pieces for this campaign included: A banner, fliers, two-side business info cards, A-frames, digital screens, social media, custom toilet paper, stickers, & a web presence.

Giveaways

We created high quality giveaways to encourage participation in activities and educational opportunities.

Based on previous assessment, Wake themed giveaways have the highest desirability.

Giveaways included: Wake enamel pin, tumblers, embroidered socks & hats, stickers, and the coveted Wake pennant sweatshirt.

Something to talk about

We wanted to incorporate marketing pieces that were extra fun.

Producing custom toilet paper tied in the campaign with one of Wake Forest’s most beloved traditions - The Rolling of the Quad for football victories.
